Regine Buettner looks back on more than 30 years of general HR experience. Since joining DHL Express in 2007 Regine has held a number of different Executive HR roles in diverse locations such as Dubai (UAE), Brussels (Belgium) and Bonn (Germany) – successfully setting up and implementing strategic HR initiatives across different regions.
In her current role as EVP HR Global, Regine leads the global HR organization of DHL Express and is a member of the Global Management Board, as well as the DPDHL Group HR Board. The motivation of more than 100,000 employees at DHL Express is of primary importance to her, which is why she promotes a culture of purpose and recognition. Regine truly drives the digital HR transformation in the company and together with her team she sets the global HR standards in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Talent Management and Compensation & Benefits.
To reconcile the interests of employers and employees she maintains a constructive dialogue with works councils and unions. Personally, she is committed to supporting female talent in organizations and is involved as a mentor.
